Interrupted Taps
|
Tap in which cutting part has odd number of flutes and in each land ridges alternately are excluded. Interrupted taps are suited to process difficult materials such as Stainless Steels and Heat Resistant Alloys with hardened surfaces because tapping torque is low. |
